A syzygy of stars

Many of the themes that I have been writing about are suddenly lining up into a pattern. They may have initially seemed far removed from each other as ideas and some people reading my blogs may have even thought the diversity of ideas were nearly random.

The republic in Australia is linked with the issue of succession for the British Crown.

The succession for the Crown is linked to the democratic system that evolved in the United Kingdom.

The issue of equality in western society and in the church can be culturally traced back to the first chapter of Genesis. Equality in terms of gender is a key topic.

The problem with energy systems is that they are structured hierarchically and do not allow for an autonomy that widespread energy storage would provide.

The problem of climate change (and the proposed solutions that remain within a hierarchical framework such as nuclear power stations) is due more to the hierarchical models and structure of energy systems than to anything else. The hierarchical structure is the main problem.

Hierarchical power structures in politics and the media rely on the symbolic dynamic of expelling scapegoats to solve a problem. Naturally, alternative models that point that out are not particularly welcome.

But, these are just ideas anyway.
