Malcolm Turnbull has scotched suggestions he would quit as Opposition Leader to end months of damaging destabilisation.
“There is no chance of that happening,” he declared at a press conference this morning to announce the Coalition’s debt reduction plan…
But when pressed on how he would be able to silence his internal critics from undermining publicly, he joked that might be simply too hard.
“How do you get politicians to shut up?” he noted.

It’s about a month before the tenth anniversary of the republic referendum loss and Godwin Grech has just resigned from the public service so we might hear some candid comments about what really happened. Do the people in the Liberal Party want all this constant negative media publicity? They were gutless not to take on Howard’s ego before the last election, so are they going to fail again now?
